£395 plus an agreed fee based on the project
What is included in the service?
An appointment with our designer usually within 10 days of the initial meeting.
An initial meeting with the designer to agree your brief and discuss budgets for the project.
A site survey including:
- House type & age
- Position of exterior walls
- Distances from damp proof courses and door sills
- Boundaries of the garden, including heights of walls and fences
- Position of any existing features which are to remain
- North point
- The setting of the garden, for example views to be kept open or screened
- Existing sunny/shaded areas
- Slopes and changes in level
- Measurements in metric
- Taking site photographs
A written proposal including any additional costs that may be incurred, for example if you require multiple meetings with our designer or project management team, or were looking for several concept drawings, construction drawings for water features, specific elevations/perspectives or detailed planting plans.
2 hand drawn scale concept plans, usually at 1:50 including annotation of significant features and proposed materials.
Both these concept plans would have ‘ball park’ (within 20%) estimates for their construction.
A final revised master plan completed in ink and coloured if required presented in person.
Planting will be described in broad terms (e.g. herbaceous planting, specimen shrubs etc) but a full planting plan, including quantities and species, will be produced if required. A planting plan is available at an additional cost.
A highly detailed construction quote for each feature within the plan.
